INTERESTS

Nature, wildlife, animals, ecology, the environment and travelling. I am an active member of the Czech Union for Nature Conservation. We specialise in the protection of reptiles and amphibians; manage the only Czech gene resource area of the Aesculapian Snake (Zamenis longissimus). We organize help to endangered species in our country as well as abroad, especially in Slovakia and Croatia, where our activities were several times awarded by diplomas of the Institute for Nature Conservation, the Croatian Nature Association and its section of Young Nature Guards. We are also involved in many exhibitions, publications and lecture activities in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. I manage the Association’s website (www.hales.ic.cz). I have been keeping small animals (fish, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals) since my childhood.
